  • 2 Tbsp yeast (instant or platinum)
  • ⅓ cup canola oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 3½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 Tbsp melted butter (for topping)
  • 2 Tbsp granulated garlic (for topping)
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese (shredded or grated)
  • 2 tsp parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let it proof for 2–5 minutes until foamy.
  3. Add canola oil, salt, egg, and flour into the yeast mixture; mix until well combined.
  4. Divide the dough into 16 equal pieces and shape each piece into rolls.
  5. Place the shaped rolls on the prepared baking sheet and let them rise in a warm place for about 5–10 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375ºF while the rolls rise.
  7. Brush the risen rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic, parmesan cheese, and parsley.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with extra melted butter if desired.
