  • 8 mini croissants
  • 4 slices smoked cheddar cheese (halved)
  • ¾ pound deli-cut ham
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large egg white
  • Poppy seeds (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Slice each mini croissant in half horizontally. Layer the bottom half with cheese, ham, and another slice of cheese before closing with the top half.
  3. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, mustard, honey, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  4. Spread the butter mixture inside each croissant sandwich.
  5. Arrange sandwiches in the greased baking dish.
  6. Whisk together egg white with a splash of water and brush onto the tops of each croissant.
  7. Sprinkle poppy seeds on top.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
