  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons flour (for filling)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (for filling)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine blueberries with 2 tablespoons of flour and 2 tablespoons of sugar; toss gently.
  3. Spread the blueberry mixture evenly in a buttered 8" by 8" baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix the topping ingredients: flour, butter, sugar, salt, and baking powder using a pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Sprinkle the topping over the blueberries evenly.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
