  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Optional: 1/2 cup sour cream, whipped cream, fresh berries, chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and eggs. Stir in flour and baking powder until smooth.
  3. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes.
  4. While cooling, beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth; add eggs and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie layer and bake again at 325°F (160°C) for 35–40 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
