  • 4 cups baby potatoes, halved or quartered

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (halal-certified)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: sour cream and fresh parsley for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and cut baby potatoes into halves or quarters.
  3. Slice smoked sausage into ¼-inch rounds.
  4. In a small bowl, mix ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  5. In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil and half of the seasoning mix until evenly coated.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  7. Spread seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet and scatter sausage on top.
  8. Roast for 35-40 minutes until golden brown; stir halfway through.
  9. Add shredded cheese on top and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
