  • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms (diced)
  • 1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts (drained and diced)
  • 3 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 small shallot (diced)
  • Fresh butter lettuce leaves for wrapping

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, shallot, ginger, and garlic. Set aside.
