  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in a large pot according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder. In a skillet, melt half of the butter over medium heat and cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from heat and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter then sauté minced garlic. Stir in parsley, thyme, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), lemon juice, and chicken broth; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Toss cooked linguine in the sauce until evenly coated. Serve topped with sliced chicken and grated Parmesan cheese.
