  • 8 oz turkey sausage, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for 3–4 minutes until softened.
  2. Add sliced turkey sausage and cook for an additional 5–7 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Add frozen pierogi to the skillet, stirring to combine with sausage and onions. Cook for 5–7 minutes until heated through.
  5. Reduce heat and add fresh spinach, cooking until wilted (about 2 minutes).
  6. Pour in heavy cream and sour cream; stir to combine with seasonings.
  7. Simmer for an additional 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and optional Parmesan cheese.
