  • 1 cup fresh or frozen corn kernels

  • 3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons flour

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add onions, celery, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until soft (5–7 minutes).
  2. Sprinkle in flour while stirring; cook for another 2 minutes until golden.
  3. Gradually pour in chicken broth while stirring. Add seasonings and bring to a simmer.
  4. Mix in corn kernels then slowly add heavy cream and whole milk. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in shrimp; cook until pink and opaque (3–5 minutes). Adjust seasonings as needed.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
