  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup (113 g) mild cheddar cheese
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 4 slices Texas toast
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Brush the halved jalapeños with olive oil and place them on the baking sheet. Roast for about 15 minutes until slightly charred.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine room temperature cream cheese, garlic salt, black pepper, and onion powder until smooth.
  4. Chop the roasted jalapeños once cooled and fold them into the cream cheese mixture.
