Ingredients

4 turkey wings

2 tablespoons of oil (olive or vegetable)

1 onion, diced

2 cloves of garlic, minced

2 carrots, diced

2 celery stalks, diced

1 cup of chicken broth

1 cup of water

2 bay leaves

1 teaspoon of thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Rinse the turkey wings under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
2. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Sear the turkey wings on all sides until golden brown.
3. Reduce the heat to medium and add the diced onion, minced garlic, carrots, and celery to the pot. Sauté for 5 minutes.
4. Pour in the chicken broth and water, ensuring the liquid covers the turkey wings. Add the bay leaves, thyme, salt, and pepper.
5. Stir well and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 2 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily falls off the bone.
6. Remove the turkey wings from the pot and place them on a serving platter.
7. Optionally, strain the liquid and use it as a flavorful gravy.

Notes
