  • ½ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika; let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for 3–4 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Add butter in the last minute to baste.
  3. In the same skillet, cook shrimp seasoned with salt and garlic powder for about 1–2 minutes on each side until pink.
  4. For the creamy garlic sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute, then add cream and Parmesan cheese; simmer until thickened.
  5. Serve steak topped with shrimp and creamy sauce; garnish as desired.
